Heroic Woman Witnesses Cat Being Abandoned and Calls the Police, She Turns the Tables and Serves the Heartless Hoomans a Heaping Pile of Justice

It's often we get to say this, but fur once, justice was served! Sorry feline fam, we just had to get that out of the way before we could say anything else. We see so many stories (so many) of cats being left behind by owners. Luckily, most of them have a happy ending thanks to the compassion of the cat community, but we wish that there would be some sort purrfect punishment for the people who did the deed in the first place. Well, it took us years of searching, but we finally found a wholesome rescue story where the culprits were caught, the cat was given a good home, and all was right in the world.

This heroic woman witnessed a cat being abandoned (who ended up being pregnant), and was quick on her feet to get pictures of not only the cat, but also of the license plate of the people who dumped her. She called the police, and they actually found the people! She has the court records to pawsitively prove it. Scroll down to read this incredibly satisfying adoption story.     Oh, this poor, sweet baby. We can't imagine how confused she must be. But we're not here to focus on that, she's happy and safe now. Only the cat community would step forward so quickly to help this kitty in need!

    Top contributor Update:: I found the cat. She is VERY LOVABLE and VERY PREGNANT. I had to leave for work, so I am not there anymore. Two ladies helped get the cat into a kennel. Police have been contacted and animal control is on the way to pick her up.

    For once, the justice system worked. All is right in the world. And her + her kitties are going to be purrfectly taken care of. Today is a good day. A very good day.

    I stopped by my sister's house after my son's early hockey practice. I got out and saw a blue truck pull up, they got out and put a cat down in the street. It really didn't click what was going on at first so I went inside, then came back to my car and the truck was gone. The cat was just sitting there looking confused. I just went with my gut and ripped out of there, got a picture of the cat quickly then raced a few blocks to get a picture of the truck. I posted it to a local facebook group and

    Also the cat going to the pound is not a death sentence up here. I asked to be updated on how everything goes and she will go to a cat sanctuary before euthanasia. The response on facebook was huge today and a ton of people volunteered to take her or kittens. As for the suspect they are trying to figure what happened because the son took the cat and dumped it. Not sure if the mom told him to or what. But they admitted to doing it.

    MikoGianni 4d ago • Being a mama to 2 cats and a foster mama to an endless amount of kittens, in the long run, I have to believe things worked out well for this kitty. Better to not be in a home where you're unwanted. Glad she's not there anymore - I just wish she hadn't been dumped.

    Flora MaeWolfe • 4d ago • Cat: What did I do? Poor thing, dumping a cat or any pet is the worst way to handle an unwanted pet. I still have trauma from decades ago realizing what a relative did. They dumped a kitten in a closed box near some hay bales. I found out later the kitten didn't make it. It still hurts me because had I known (I was a kid), I could have saved them. They bs'ed me into believing the kitten could get out and live on their own.

It's ok, she's used to it. Thankyou OP for getting them to safety, and for managing to get a picture of vehicle belonging to the absolute stain on existence that did this.

Thank goodness, she didn't get struck by any cars, or worse attacked/eaten by predators! Poor baby. I hope they find her a furever home, where she AND her kittens are loved & spoiled, beyond belief.
